This recognition means the world to us – it shows we work alongside people and businesses who care as deeply as we do about our Pilbara communities.
We celebrate Pilbara Aboriginal authors and illustrators, and deliver sessions at the heart of our communities through partnerships with local libraries.
From supporting the original book’s publication to delivering sessions across the region, every step has been a labour of love. As we continue to evolve and expand our reach, we’re excited to bring the program to even more communities. Our first story times of 2026 kick off in early March with the Shire of Ashburton in Pannawonica, Paraburdoo, and Tom Price.
Through interactive storytelling, puppetry, and hands-on activities, we’re weaving together Indigenous authorship, cultural respect, and environmental education – empowering the next generation to take care of Country.
