Members of the North West Alliance team attended the National Reconciliation Week breakfast in Newman.
It was a meaningful event focused on connection, reflection and reconciliation. Hearing the stories and personal experiences shared by the speakers was both informative and powerful, and was an important reminder of the role we all play in continuing reconciliation beyond the week itself.
NWA was proud to support the event by providing wheelie bins for general waste disposal. Attending on behalf of our team were Newman Operations Supervisor: Maru Sivagnanaselvam, Waste Coordinators: Zhonny Tavita & David Fifita and Contract Delivery Manager: Dwayne Likiliki.
During the morning, we also had the pleasure of meeting with Shire of East Pilbara President, Anthony Middleton, who expressed his appreciation for North West Allianceβs support.
We would also like to acknowledge Christopher McStravick, who, although working in Karratha on the day and unable to attend, prepared and organised the North West Alliance banners for the event.
